Westbourne Grove Church is a friendly, welcoming church in the Notting Hill area of West London. It is focused on helping people in its local community as well as offering rooms for hire for the use of local people, businesses and charities.
With a rich history and creative focus, we were commissioned us to overhaul and refresh their website from the ground up: to capture the unique feel and spirit of their church community; help them drive their key objectives; and put people at the heart of the designs.

THE BRIEF
Chris & Charlotte had been struggling to redesign their website in-house. Exasperated and worn out with trying to resolve the website navigation, messaging and customer journeys, they called us for help!
We went back to basics with the website design, putting in place a robust website strategy. This provided a clear and simple user journey for visitors via the website navigation. With this foundation, we then implemented a beautiful, attractive aesthetic design to attract and engage the core audience.
In our website design, we sought to mirror the balance of the beautiful traditional architecture of the church with its light, airy and contemporary interior redesign. We also included a light refresh of the branding, bringing coherence to the online visual identity.
The redesign also included brand photography, which greatly helped to convey the values and feel of the church, vital for engaging visitors in a memorable experience on the website.
